BP Oil and their Suffolk County gas station dealers present a check for $14,000 to Executive Director George Waldbauer to support PAL’s community programs that prevent juvenile delinquency.

East Coast Black Belt Academy, Sensei Anthony Aloe and Sensei Jerry Figgiani present a check to Suffolk PAL for $1,000.00 The donation was raised during a community fund raising event to support PAL’s anti-bullying and gang prevention programs.

George Waldbauer, Executive Director of the Suffolk County PAL, Inc presents a plaque to Edward L. Wolf, President of the Richard E Capri Fondation in recognition of the foundations generous donation of $10,000.00. The grant will be used towards the development of PAL’s Fields for Kids program in Central Islip.

The Suffolk County Police Athletic League (PAL) provides resources and community-based educational and athletic programs to more than 26,000 youth in Suffolk County to prevent juvenile delinquency. Led by Executive Director George Waldbauer, Suffolk County PAL’s BreakThru Mini-Grant will be used to purchase computers for the PAL Computer Learning and Literacy Center in Middle Island. There, many children from groups typically underrepresented in STEM fields will have supervised access to computers and the Internet as they learn basic computer skills and Internet safety, including a focus on safe practices for social networking sites.
